Celebrity Diet Tips!


celebrity weight lossWe wonder what celebrity diet Hollywood moms such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Heidi Klum, Halle Berry and all the other gorgeous celebrities do to tone up and slim down so quick. With the help of CNN and our own tips and tricks you could be on your way to a knockout celeb body soon!

1. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day

Kick start your metabolism with a banana, oatmeal, and scrambled white eggs. Your satiety center will be satisfied with this fiber filled protein rich start to your day.

2. Ditch the all white carbs

This doesn’t mean you have to get all Atkin’s on us, just ditch the white for whole wheat or better yet choose fruits and vegetables to deliver your carbs.

3. Be selective about your veggies

Say bye-bye to bloating when you eat the following veggies and fruits like lettuce, celery, cucumbers, watermelon, melon, oranges, and grapes instead of broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, pears, apples and prunes.

4. Literally burn more calories with Spice

A sprinkle of red pepper flakes, chopped up jalapeños or hot sauce will not only spice up your life but make you eat less food and burn more calories! Be sure not to over indulge on the spiciness or else you will be reaching for heartburn medication before you leave the kitchen table!

5.  Snacking Works

We like to stick to the “eat three healthy meals a day with three healthy snacks in between” regimen.  Some of our favorite snacks are apple slices, 100 calorie pack snacks, low-fat string cheese, grapes, carrot and celery sticks or a handful of raw nuts. When you know you will be on the go it is easy to have these tasty treats in a zip-lock bag available at a drop of a hat.

  2. I started working out 45min a day 5 times a week, and at first I would just starve myself, I would eat like an apple and some juice, for the day. I lost weight, but once the weekend hit I totally caved, and I was like oh well I can just diet again once the week starts, but I would really like to know what food and how much of it I should eat.

    It sounds like you have your workout routine in place now, let’s get your diet right. Starving yourself won’t do you any good. Your body needs the energy we get from food to help you lose weight, otherwise it will go into starvation mode and hold on to ANYTHING you consume resulting in weight gain or plateauing. This happens because your body doesn’t know when or where the next source of energy will come from. We like to advise our users to eat three healthy meals and three small (healthy) snacks in between to keep your metabolism going. To help kick start your metabolism try cycling calories (the zig-zag method).
