Independence Day Recipes

Hey Sprinklers!

While you’re out enjoying our Nation’s birthday with friends and family, make sure you aren’t straying too far from your weight loss goals, which means, don’t forget your SENSA!  You can still continue to eat the foods you love and lose weight with SENSA, especially BBQ!  Check out these incredibly easy and awesomely delicious recipes presented by Jim O’Connor, The Food Network host of “The Secret Life of…”

And to top off those amazing recipes, try one of our Quench Creations.  They are fun, simple, and will keep you energized the whole day so you can make the night time fireworks show!

Tropical Quench Sparkler

2 packets Tropical Quench          8oz cold water    4 oz lemon or lime juice

4 oz Fresca Peach Soda                 1/2 cup cubed, frozen mangoes

Divide the mangoes between 2 tall glasses.  In a separate glass, make the Quench as directed.  Note the  mixture will be very concentrated since you only used half the water needed.  Pour half of the Quench mixture into each glass.  Top off the mixture with the Fresca Peach Soda.  Mix well.  The mangoes will be your ice cubes until they unthaw, but they will also absorb the taste of the drink, so when they do unthaw, you will have a tasty treat left over.  Add vodka or rum to taste for an alcohol version of the recipe.  Enjoy!

Don’t forget to sprinkle!  Have fun and be safe out there!
