Make Every Bite Count!

Hello my Sensa Peeps!!!!

I hope everyone is well. I am soooooo enjoying the warmer temps here in L.A. and I’m feeling better about myself in shorts and tank tops because of my Sensa Weight Loss. I’m also just feeling better in general since I lost weight. I have more energy and I feel healthier and happier than I have in years.

So it was kind of serendipitous when I stumbled on this article that I want to share with you. It’s about calorie restriction and how it’s the number one way to extend life expectancy. Researchers think it triggers a genetic switch that slows the aging process. But it’s not just about how LONG you live, it’s also about how WELL you live. All of the people in the article said they felt better, had more energy and were rarely, if ever, sick. I thought “wow that’s what Sensa is helping all of us do every day… cut down on calories and portions so you lose weight. And not only do you lose weight, but you are improving your health and possibly even extending your life!” But here is a good reminder for all of us…the people practicing calorie restriction mentioned that since they take in fewer calories they focus on filling every bite full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. Most say they eat primarily fruits, vegetables, nuts and lean meats. So make every bite count! This actually inspired me to start juicing again (and then bribing my kids to drink it too). I even think I am going to make a fruit smoothie for the fam tonight…! (I put a lot of strawberries in an dmake it pink and call it a “princess drink” for my daughter.
