I am wondering does Sensa have to be sprinkled on “top” or can it be within the food product? rationale–what sensory receptors are important? those in the olfactory system or the digestive?

jk, thanks for the great questions. Sprinkle everything you eat except liquids. For Semi-liquids, jello, yogurt, oatmeal, ice cream pudding and things like this, sprinkle layer by layer. Soup, drain juice and drink it in a cup or keep low to the bottom and sprinkle the solid part. Cereal keep milk low to the bottom and sprinkle solid and enjoy. Never mix in your food and always sprinkle on top. The receptors in your nose and mouth need to pick up the scent and flavor. So once this contact is made signals are sent to your your olfactory bulb.

Yesterday I put the Sensa on food and I got terrible heart palpitations they were so strong my whole body shook, I had to lay down and took some deep breaths …..I thought that I was having a heart attack… I really got scared…
Has anyone else had a reaction like this…
Could I be allergic to something in the product?
I have used the product for a few weeks with no problems until now…
Could it be that it built up in my body and then I had a reaction?

madelyn, I am sorry to hear you are having some health problems. To set your mind at ease, there are no drugs, no MSG, no Stimulants, no gluten, no fat blockers, no sugar and no calories. There was a 6 month clinical SENSA® study done with 1436 people and not one had any adverse reaction or side effect. The SENSA® ingredients are found in common foods such as baby food, salad dressings, yogurt and pudding. Also, SENSA® does contain soy and milk ingredients. Please consult your doctor madelyn or stop using SENSA®.

Hi Madelyn,
SENSA doesn’t contain any ingredients that would make you have heart palpitations, especially strong ones that shook your whole body. SENSA works with your sense of smell and is digested with your food, so it doesn’t build up in your body like a medication would. I’m not sure why you had heart palpitations, but you may want to consult your physician.

Hi Sharla. We’re sorry to hear that SENSA wasn’t for you, however, it has worked for so many others. We send accounts to collections that received product, but haven’t paid for it, and it is out of our control as to what hours they decide to call you to collect. If you feel you don’t owe anything, I’m sure they will be happy to do an investigation for you. Thank you for trying SENSA.

I bought this product a week ago following the hype on the 6:30 program and having read a number of articles on the net. I tried it 4 times over 4 days and apart from a tingling tongue and increased stomach acid (twice)I have NOT experienced hunger pang cessation. Believe me, I really do want to lose weight but will just have to continue looking for something that works for me.
Also, I am disappointed that having rung Sensa’s 1800 number twice and being promised that ‘a consultant will call you back..’, this still has not occurred. You have a way to go there folks!

I have been using SENSa now for 5 days. I have lost 4 pounds. I can tell that I can sprinkle it on my food , and sometimes I do not finish my plate now. I am hoping I enjoy these results for the next 3 months!

Hi
I’m going on my third week and I have lost 3 pounds. I don’t eat as much as I use to and I hardly have any cravings. I do try to drink as much water throughout the day. And I so do some form of exercise three to four times a week.

I started SENSA yesterday and I am not kidding, I used it on a HALF a breakfast burrito and could not finish it!!! … I eat lunch and dinner and it seems like I ate normally. So I go ta little discouraged but I read the book that came with it and saw that I was not sprinkling enough of it on my foods. I just ate oatmeal (1 packet) and I’m not starving nor am I over stuffed I’m just right. I’m sooo excited to see what results I will get.
Good Luck Ladies and Gent’s !!!!!

September 15th, 2011 at 2:03 pm
I have started Sensa on September 1st,and so far I’m not feeling it.I am still eating how I was.Nothing has changed. And even gained 1 pound.Really?? This isn’t worth 89.99. Sorry to say.
Yet,my sister in law lost 40 pounds in 6 months.Guess it works for some and not others.BUMMER
September 16th, 2011 at 8:31 am
Hi G.Ambroio! It’s only been 15 days since you started. Please be patient and give it more time. Your sister in law lost the weight because she committed to the 6 months and pushed through. Please give SENSA some time to work. It sounds like you already gave up…don’t! Keep sprinkling and re-commit to making a life-long change, which doesn’t happen overnight.

Just started Sensa, but have already experienced loose bowels and gas. Is this common? Does it pass with time?
October 6th, 2011 at 5:24 am
Hello Pat. All of the ingredients found in SENSA are on the FDA’s GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) list and can be found in foods you already consume on a daily basis. If you have food sensitivities or allergies, specifically to soy or milk, you may want to consult with your physician before continuing. These have proven by many to be temporary side effects. Your stomach discomfort if you continue to eat larger portions. To combat this effect, try to eat slowly and stop eating as soon as you start to get full.
