The China Study

Hi all you Sensa Hotties!  I hope everyone is still as happy with Sensa as I am.  I’ve actually dropped another pound without even thinking about it!  That brings my grand total to 15!!!!!

I am on this nutrition kick lately and so I started reading “The China Study”.  I don’t know if you’ve heard about it but it is definitely worth reading.  It a nutshell (no pun intended…you’ll get the joke in a second) Dr. Campbell found out that “people who ate the most animal-based foods got the most chronic disease.  People who ate the most plant-based foods were the healthiest and tended to avoid chronic disease.  These results couldn’t be ignored.”  (and pssssst don’t tell anyone but I have it from a great source that Oprah will probably be doing “The China Study” on her show very soon).  

Now, I am from Texas where I used to eat steaks as big as my head (large heads run in my family) so this was hard for me to read, but the research is so thorough and extensive that it really makes you question what you are putting in your mouth and how it will affect you in the long run.  I will never be a vegetarian or a vegan, I believe in moderation but I have been feeling pretty great so far.  So if this appeals to you try eating more beans instead of meat and more tofu and soy instead of chicken and pork plus lots and lots of veggies and fruits.  I love the brand “Amy’s” in the frozen section of your grocery story…such good meals that you can take to work with you.  They taste like restaurant quality food!  And I’ve been snacking on Lara Bars (the cherry is the best and raw almonds).  And of course I did lose another pound…thanks Sensa!!!  

But whatever you eat…just remember to always use your Sensa…you will see results and you style="font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;"> will love what you see on the scale and in the mirror.  Memorial Day is a little over a week away so there is no time like the present!!!!
